    booking_types/partials/modals.blade.php is this file's twin and carries the
    long form of everything they share: one instance of each dialog re-targeted
    per row, why they are <x-modal> rather than the wireframe's hand-rolled
    divs, the per-form error bags, the old()-is-not-bag-scoped trap that both
    pages hit because both dialogs have a field called `name`, and why the
    reopen renders the Edit form's action server-side instead of fishing the row
    out of the drawn table. Read it first.

    Two things are this page's own.

    ## The dialog is 520px, not 440px

    The wireframe says so (`max-width: 520px`, line 27, against booking-type's
    440) — the checkbox list needs the room. `.modal-w-520` carries it, declared
    in block 21 of the app-additions tail beside its 440 sibling.

    ## The checkbox list

    `.checkbox-list` is a page-local rule of that wireframe (lines 72-97),
    ported verbatim. It is a bordered, 160px-tall scroll box of full-width
    <label> rows, each with a leading checkbox, and the wireframe's own script
    toggles a `.checked` class on the row as the box is ticked — a
    `--primary-light` highlight. nrems-master-modals.js does that here, with one
    delegated listener rather than one per box.

    The boxes post `booking_types[]` with the booking type's **id** as the value
    and its name as the label. The wireframe uses names for both because it has
    no database; ids are what the pivot stores, and a name would break the
    moment somebody renamed a booking type between rendering this list and
    submitting it.

    **The list is every non-deleted booking type, in id order, regardless of
    `is_active`** — CR-7 §3.2. The controller's index() action explains why the
    flag is not filtered on: no screen in this CR can set it, so the filter
    could never do anything.

    No `required` attribute on the boxes, and that is deliberate rather than an
    omission. HTML's `required` on a checkbox is per-element — it means *this*
    box must be ticked, not "one of this group" — so putting it on all six would
    demand all six and putting it on the first would demand that one. The field
    is required, `StoreCustomerDocTypeRequest` enforces it as
    required|array|min:1, and the asterisk beside the label says so. The two
    text inputs do carry `required`, which is why the forms are opened with
    :novalidate="false".
