{{--
    Themed native <select> (docs/wireframes-v12/add-project.html ~line 22).

    CR-2 (spec §12): the class is `form-control`, not Bootstrap's `form-select`.
    That is the wireframe's own choice — every select on every v12 page is a
    `.form-control`, and style.css paints the chevron itself with a
    `select.form-control` background-image rather than leaving it to Bootstrap.
    Using `form-select` here would have meant two competing chevrons.

        <x-form.select name="project_type" label="Project Type" placeholder="Select"
                       :options="['plot' => 'Plot', 'villa' => 'Villa']" required />

    Props:
        name Field name, in HTML form. Use "tags[]" with `multiple`.
        label        Label text.
        value        Fallback selection (scalar, or an array for `multiple`);
                     flashed old input always wins. A `multiple` select submits
                     nothing at all once the user empties it, so after a failed
                     submit an absent key means "empty", not "fall back to
                     :value" — see form_old_array().
        required Red asterisk on the label + the `required` attribute.
        options Assoc array of value => label.
        placeholder Renders a leading empty option. Omit for no empty option.
        group-class Extra classes for the wrapper, e.g. "col-md-6".

    Selection matching is strict on the string form of the value, so a 0-valued
    option is selectable and an absent selection never marks it by accident.

    ---
    spatie/laravel-html variant. The options are built one at a time with
    html()->option() rather than through Select::options()/Select::value(),
    because the package matches the current selection with a loose comparison
    and would re-introduce the `null == 0` bug form_selected_values() exists to
    prevent. Select::placeholder() is skipped for the same reason: it marks the
    empty option `selected` whenever nothing else is.
